Learning in action! 🎨⚙️ Mrs. Deeren’s third-grade class created hands-on sculptures while studying force and motion in science, exploring gravity, magnetism, and more. They transformed their classroom into an interactive museum, welcoming younger students with admission tickets to explore the exhibits and learn directly from our knowledgeable 3rd-grade presenters!

📐 Math + Bear Origami
Students used shapes, symmetry, spatial reasoning, sequencing, and problem-solving to create origami bears.
📚 Literacy + Literary Devices
Bear-themed literacy activities helped students explore literary devices, vocabulary, comprehension, and creative thinking.
🧪 Science + Gummy Bear Investigations
Our young scientists predicted, observed, and compared how different liquids changed gummy bears, putting the scientific process into action.
🎨 Art + Bear Scratch Art
Students expressed their creativity through bear scratch art, incorporating color, patterns, fine-motor skills, and individual artistic expression.

HOCO 2026– join us October 10th for our Homecoming Dance! Middle School (7th & 8th) is from 5 pm-7 pm and High School (9th-12th) is from 7:30 pm-9:30 pm! Cost is $10 at the door and concessions will be available for purchase. If you are bringing an outside guest, forms are due back in the office by this Friday, Oct. 2nd!
Jostens came and presented today to Juniors and Seniors. They will be bringing home information regarding Junior class ring and Senior cap and gown orders.
