Third graders in Mrs. Deeren’s science class transformed their classroom into a Paris-themed art exhibit and invited the second graders for a special exhibit walk!🗼🇫🇷 Students designed and built their own balanced sculptures — some symmetrical, some asymmetrical — using limited materials and clever problem-solving. With specific success criteria and limited time, these young artists engineered stunning hanging and still sculptures that demonstrated their understanding of invisible forces!

First Bear Rally of the school year! Lots to celebrate about our school!

Thank you 4-H students for choosing the WCCES campus for your community service project which was picking up trash around the school as an appreciation for being allowed to use the building for their meetings. 😊

📢🔬 WCC Bear Necessities After-School Program Update! 🐾❤️

We are thrilled to welcome WCC’s very own retired science teacher, Ms. Tina Taylor, back into the classroom! 🎉🍎

This week, Ms. Taylor is leading our students through fun, hands-on science experiments with the Totally Gross Project! 🧪👩‍🔬 Students recently explored the fascinating (and a little gross!) world of Forensic Entomology, learning how scientists study insects and their life cycles to help solve mysteries involving both humans and animals. 🪰🧐

Our Bears had a blast discovering how science can be both exciting and important in the real world. 🌎✨

Congratulations to the boys and girls golf teams.
They competed in the conference golf tournament at River Oaks.
In just their 3rd year of existence our Boys Golf team are conference champions and our Girls Golf team are conference runner-up. Qualifying both teams for the state tournament. We are proud of each you. Great Job.

Arkansas Dept. of Education has released the 2025 school report cards. WCC is proud to announce that our K-6 received an A rating and our High school received a B rating! This is a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers! It's a GREAT day to be a BEAR!
